Mezzo-soprano Béatrice Uria Monzón, flamenco singer Antonia Contreras and guitarist Liat Cohen will be accompanied by Orchestre national Avignon-Provence and its musical director Débora Waldman in a program of Spanish music.
Friday, July 22: Carnival and Bolero
Katia and Marielle Labèque Official in Saint-Saëns's Carnaval des Animaux, with Gaspard Proust as narrator and author of the text, as well as excerpts from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. The program is completed by Hégiak, an ensemble of Basque musicians - percussion and vocals.
Saturday, July 23: Michel Legrand forever
Natalie Dessay and Neima Naouri in a program dedicated to Michel Legrand with the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Marseille, conducted by Samuel Jean, and the participation of Henri Demarquette - Cellist in the concerto dedicated to him by the composer.
